Learning Tools
At Love Literacy, we believe learning should be both purposeful and enjoyable.
Our tools are designed to make practising reading, writing, and spelling fun — while reinforcing the evidence-based principles we teach every day through Structured Literacy.
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, caregiver, teacher, or tutor, these resources provide our children extra opportunities to build confidence, strengthen skills, and discover the joy of literacy — one game, one word, one success at a time.
Yeet
Yeet is a fast-paced, engaging card game that makes practising reading and spelling genuinely fun. Each deck reinforces key sound patterns and spelling rules through play — helping learners strengthen fluency and confidence without even realising they’re learning.
Proudly featured by Dyslexia Evidence-Based New Zealand and Dystinct Magazine, Yeet is recognised as a trusted, enjoyable way to support literacy growth at home or in the classroom.

Developed in collaboration with bilingual educators, Marīkī follows the Hanganga Reo Matatini scope and sequence (Mahi by Mahi), supporting tamariki to read and spell with confidence — in te reo Māori.
