The Yeet CVC pack is one of our core foundation packs for early reading.
This pack focuses on three-letter words that follow a consonant–vowel–consonant pattern. It uses short vowels a, e, i, o, and u, combined with a range of consonants. These are the kinds of words that help learners truly understand how blending works.
This pack is ideal for children in their first year of learning to read, Year 0 and Year 1, and it’s also incredibly useful for older learners who need extra support with sounding out and blending.
Inside the pack, you’ll find a mixture of common and less common vocabulary. For some learners, especially those rebuilding foundations in Year 2 and beyond, this pack can be incredibly empowering. It gives them a structure they can trust. They start to see that words are predictable when you know the code.
